| Like their selection, like their prices, but their customer service is awful. I submitted an order and forgot the promotion code for 10% off. I knew immediately after hitting confirm that I forgot the code, so I contacted customer service and gave them my order number, promotion code, and everything they needed to apply to my account. Did they do anything - no! Did they contact me -no. The only reason I placed the order was for the 10% off. Will I use them - probably. Will I recommend them anymore - probably not! |

| Low prices and very reasonable international shipping. The excellent web site is excellent, particularly the checkout process, which is really helpful for international shopper looking to minimise their shipping costs, as it allows you to modify quantities and shipping methods at the last stage of process, and provides an updated price. It only loses points for not responding to an email I sent through. |

| My credit card number was stolen after a transaction with VitaCost. My credit card statement listed the VitaCost transaction as haven taken place in Florida. Right after that transaction my statement showed a slew of $500 cash advances in Florida. Fortunately I caught it quickly, but not before the theif got away with about $3000 in cash advances. Do not purchase from VitaCost. Your credit card information is not safe. |

| These people are criminals. They took part in a scam to apply recurring charges to my credit card. They are criminals and they ought to be locked up. Do not give them your credit card number or your business. |

| I had long been a fan of vitacost because of selection and pricing and generally quick delivery. I also recommended them to friends and neighbors. My last order, however, was sent to the WRONG ADDRESS. When I contacted customer service, I received no reply. And when I contacted them again, still no reply. I then filled out the satisfaction survey they sent, and included my info in the section that asked, "would you like a reply?" and STILL received no answers. Unacceptable. Can anyone recommend another source with similar prices? I'd prefer not to do business with them again. |

| "Over the last year Vitacost has really slid down hill. I order lots of heavy items and they usually arrive without a whit of packing..smashed and leaking bottles..soaked and unusable products. The WORST thing, however, is that they have double and even triple billed my bank card on four separate occasions since January-all separate charges for the same order. I have to call my bank and have the extra charges removed. I love their products and prices, but I have decided NOT to do business with them again and urge others not to as well. It is not worth the aggravation, the "will they double charge me or won't they?" worry, the time spent calling my CC company to remove the extra charges (I wonder if they do this on purpose, thinking some people don't even examine their statements). I will pay extra to shop with companies that don't behave in such a sleazy manner. |

| I am on my third order with Vitacost and my last! items on their website say they will ship out in 24 hours but at least one item, usually more is always on backorder and will hold up the order. I keep getting emails that say the items are still on backorder and they will not ship any of your order until everything you ordered originally is in stock. So, they give you the option of replacing the backordered items-sounds good! BUT, they do not reply to emails and customer service puts you on hold for a long time-They even have the option of leaving your number and someone calls you back so you don't have to wait on hold-Well, I tried that option and no one ever called me back! Poor customer service..... |

| I've bought from Vitacost for years but I am getting disgusted with their customer service. They claim they ship same day if in stock items are ordered by 2pm est. I ordered all in stock items at 10:25 am est on a tuesday and they shipped 56 hours later - so my order ended up spending a hot summer weekend sitting in truck in a UPS parking lot. When I wrote and complained to customer service, they never responded. In addition to the delayed shipping, they used a weird UPS shipping method where the UPS driver drops off a package at my neighbor's house then drives by my house and leaves my package with the post office for the postman to deliver the following day! I'm disgusted. |
